You, know Phoebe, that might make for a very interesting paper! (Not necessary relevant to our class, maybe, but interesting nonetheless!) Maybe someone could look at how music sort of "paints with sound," or, better yet for this class, look at a painting of people "stomping" in this jazzy sense and disect the painting based on the genre of music! So, instead of comparing a painting with a text, compare a painting with a song! Ooooooh!

I think Cherry's going to be working on music and silence with respect to paintings, so we may have a post from her on painting with sounds coming up....
